Hey-

I’m Charity Starchenko.

I’m a wife, a mom to some dope teenagers, and a dog mom to a recalcitrant rescue mutt and a joyfully chaotic golden doodle. I love the bonding experience of food, and I strangely don’t care for chocolate. I’m neutral on coffee, picky about tea. I’m a remiss New Englander.

My experience in small business and church marketing, combined with my passion for the local church, missions, and digital media, led me to Edinburgh Theological Seminary to pursue a Th.M. in Missiology. My research focuses on reaching digitally-driven generations and communities, particularly Gen Z and Gen Alpha.

I believe that:
Jesus is the greatest hope for every soul.
Devoted churches encourage and equip devoted disciples of Jesus.
The Great Commission wasn’t merely a great suggestion. It’s a broad mandate with a lot of scope and opportunity

If you’re drawn to anything I’ve shared, I’d love to connect, even if it’s to hear what you consider the best Asian dish and why it’s double-cooked pork or spicy crispy fish. (Just kidding. It’s totally spicy pho on a cold rainy day.)

About Anchor & Voice

I’m building Anchor & Voice in love and in hope that digitally-driven people and communities will anchor their souls in Jesus and share that love with their friends.

Living in a digitally-driven era means building a different kind of life, one that’s often fueled by a search for meaning and purpose. While many initiatives these days have strong digital beginnings, the good fruit grows in person. And to get there, you need to harness your digital resources, build credibility, and follow God into a brave new digital future.

My goal is to help churches and faith-based non-profits communicate from a place of hope that invites and accompanies people to faith in the life of the local church. I do that by helping churches audit their presence, values, and motivation, and by building inviting presences that lead to gospel relationships.

  • To help churches embrace a better digital and in-person presence to welcome doubters, seekers, and believers into the life of the church.

  • We want to see small and medium-sized churches communicate in person and online so that a generation of young adults embed the gospel into their lives of meaning and purpose.

  • Authenticity
    Credibility
    Consistancy
    Kindness
    Clarity
